Job Description:

VMware’s Technical Adoption Manager(TAM) Services, part of VMware’s Customer Success portfolio, aim to help organizations maximize the value of their VMware investments while optimizing alignment between business objectives and IT performance.

Activities performed by a TAM include but are not limited to:

  • Planning to identify Customer's business and IT outcomes along with recommendations for technical capabilities and activities needed for success.
  • Technology assessment to identify gaps impeding progress toward Customer's goals and provide prioritized recommendations through:
    • Best Practice, interoperability, and compatibility reviews
    • Technical Readiness Assessment
  • Solution guidance to develop a future state roadmap and guidance to scale out Customer's environment.
  • Recommendations to improve efficiency, resiliency, security, and sustainability for operational optimization.
  • Performance metrics analysis to identify areas where potential system degradation and bottlenecks can impact system health.
  • Product optimization recommendations and rightsizing guidance for VMs, cluster size, efficiencies, storage performance and host configurations.
  • Periodic peer comparisons of operations and processes to known best practices of similar organizations to Customer's using guidance from our VMware product teams and years of experience.
  • Monthly touch points to ensure progression toward Customer's goals.
  • Executive business reviews to report on progress and upcoming milestones for continuous stakeholder alignment

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Software or SaaS Implementation or on-boarding support
  • Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsible, proactive and have good communication skills.
  • Ability to think and work independently, with enthusiasm and execution.
  • Good teamwork spirit, being supportive and proactive as a team player.
  • Any certificate of the list is a plus. VCP,CKA,ITIL, AWS, Azure, GCP
  • English speaking and writing skill are a must
