Job Description

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Technical Administrator to work at our customers site in Derby on a contract basis.

As a Technical Administrator you will work alongside key supporting functions and engineering teams responsible for manufacturing and delivering components.

Role details: 

Job title: Technical Administrator 

Contract length: 9-12 Months

Location: Derby

Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the engineers to ensure compliance with all documentation, processes adherence, and procurement activities.
  • Checking and collation of tooling documents and records in support of record retention and standardisation to process.
  • Ensuring data and content in planning programmes is maintained and managed correctly.
  • Attending technical meetings as scribe and publishing minutes.
  • Supporting activities within TeamCenter such as placeholder creation, folder management, and revision control.
  • Liaising with programme teams for WIP projects to ensure master planning tool is maintained.

Qualifications

Who we are looking for:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to processes with a logical systematic approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Programmes.
  • Experience as scribe/minute taking.
  • Experience of using SAP, TeamCenter, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible to work to meet the demands of the business at key critical times.
  • Experience of working in a in a manufacturing business is preferred but not essential.

Additional Information

**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
