We are seeking a Technical Accounting Consultant to provide expertise on complex accounting matters, financial reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives. This role will partner with leadership to evaluate accounting treatments and support strategic business transactions.
Responsibilities
- Research and document technical accounting issues
- Analyze accounting implications of complex transactions
- Prepare accounting memoranda and supporting documentation
- Support financial reporting and disclosure requirements
- Assist with adoption of new accounting standards
- Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders
- Provide guidance on accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA required or strongly preferred
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting preferred
- Experience with technical accounting research and documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
