Job Description

The Technical Accounting Associate will play a key role in supporting Solidigm's compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS by contributing to financial reporting, technical accounting research, and the maintenance of corporate accounting policies and procedures. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, motivated individual with a foundational understanding of accounting principles, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for accuracy and process improvement.

The Technical Accounting Associate will play a key role in supporting Solidigm's compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS by contributing to financial reporting, technical accounting research, and the maintenance of corporate accounting policies and procedures. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, motivated individual with a foundational understanding of accounting principles, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for accuracy and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures for both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Maintain and reconcile lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16.
  • Record lease-related transactions (e.g., new leases, modifications, terminations, renewals) in the lease accounting system (NetLease).
  • Collaborate with real estate and operations teams to review lease agreements and extract relevant financial data.
  • Maintain detailed debt schedules, including interest and amortization tables, and ensure audit and SOX compliance.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and assist in analyzing complex accounting matters including revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), and debt/equity accounting (ASC 470, ASC 480).
  • Contribute to the monthly and quarterly close process by preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare variance analyses for selected balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Provide support on ad hoc financial reporting projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits by preparing technical documentation and audit deliverables.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate or improve accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Uphold compliance with the company’s ethical standards and internal accounting policies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and technical accounting concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetLease or other lease accounting software is a plus.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time, hybrid position, with a combination of remote and on-site work, based at Solidigm’s designated office location, with standard working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. The role involves periodic extended hours during peak financial reporting periods (quarter-end and year-end close). Interaction with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, and Legal, as well as external auditors. A fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Additional Information

The compensation range for this role is $[61,550] - $[92,390]. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
