Job Description:

Arrow is looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team with focus on VMware and Splunk.

Acquiring the necessary certifications in cloud- and AI-based solutions from Arrow’s vendor portfolio will be part of your continuous development. Following the initial enablement and training period, you will support internal departments and then deliver technical presentations, product demos, Proof-of-Concept (PoC) implementations, trainings and webinars, while also providing technical advice and support to customers. You will also participate in technology fairs and vendor events.

What will you be doing: 

  • Supporting business teams in preparing and developing customer offers, as well as answering technical questions related to your assigned solutions.
  • Obtaining technical certifications and expanding your practical skills across different vendor technologies.
  • Delivering training sessions, webinars, technical presentations, product demos and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) implementations.
  • Joining customer visits, both virtual and onsite, together with sales colleagues, depending on vendor and business needs.
  • Working with a defined list of customers to enable, support and develop them according to Business Unit priorities.
  • Continuously developing your knowledge of the latest technologies in Arrow’s vendor portfolio.
  • Managing customer support cases using our internal ticketing system.

What we are looking for:

  • Customer-oriented mindset with a strong interest in innovation and technology.
  • Hands-on experience in Splunk or VMWare technology is mandatory.
  • Experience in NetApp technology would be considered an advantage.
  • Experience delivering technical presentations, product demos, Proof-of-Concept (PoC) implementations, trainings and webinars.
  • Experience working with technical stakeholders, ideally within a channel, distribution or partner-focused environment.
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies and develop vendor-specific certifications.
  • Technical IT high school diploma or university degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve partner/customer issues, while effectively prioritizing workload.
  • Business fluency in Italian and in English language.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Italy for customer and vendor meetings.

Annual Hiring Range

On Target Earnings (Base Pay + Target Variable Pay)

38,000.00 to 60,522.00 EUR

Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay mix between base salary and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at the offer stage.
