About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Account Advisor to build and maintain a deep technical partnership with a strategic Nordic and Baltic provider of national critical infrastructure. This customer has a visionary roadmap for cybersecurity transformation built on the TrendAI Platform, and you will play a critical role in helping them realize that vision while maintaining the highest levels of cyber resilience.

In this role, you will deliver expert technical enablement to drive successful platform adoption, ensuring the customer can fully leverage the Trend Micro ecosystem. You will advise on architecture, implementation, and best practices, helping the customer mitigate cyber risk through optimal use of our capabilities.

As a trusted technical advisor embedded within a complex, high-security environment, you will provide tailored, proactive, and focused engineering support. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, retention, and growth, through strategic guidance, deep technical expertise, and personalized solutions.

This position is designed for a seasoned IT professional with strong experience in infrastructure and cybersecurity, who is comfortable operating at both a technical and strategic level with senior customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

· Trusted Cybersecurity Advisor Act as a trusted security advisor to the customer, helping the customer achieving long-term cyber resilience and maximize the strategic value of the TrendAI Platform within a national critical infrastructure environment.

· Proactive Cyber Risk Management Provide proactive security oversight through regular security posture reviews, best-practice recommendations, configuration guidance, and tailored threat intelligence aligned to the customer’s risk profile.

· Security Adoption & Enablement Guide the customer through onboarding and adoption of the TrendAI cybersecurity platform, ensuring effective integration, operational readiness, and sustained security outcomes rather than just technical deployment.

· Internal Security Advocacy Represent the customer’s security priorities, risk concerns, and operational constraints

internally, ensuring they are clearly understood by Trend Micro Product, R&D, and Security teams.

· Advisory Support Across the Security Lifecycle Provide expert cybersecurity guidance throughout implementation and steady-state operations, supporting secure design decisions, operational maturity, and continuous improvement.

· Threat & Risk Communication Translate complex cyber threats, exposure, and platform insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical teams and senior leadership.

Our Ideal Candidate:

· Cybersecurity-Driven & Technically Grounded Strong interest in building a career in high-stakes cybersecurity environments, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to security, risk, and resilience outcomes.

· Relevant Experience 3+ years of experience in roles such as Technical Account Management, Forward-Deployed Engineering, Technical Architecture, or other positions supporting critical IT or security-sensitive infrastructure.

· Infrastructure Foundations Solid hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Windows Server, and enterprise networking, with an understanding of how infrastructure design impacts security posture.

· Virtualization & Container Platforms Strong working knowledge of VMware vSphere / ESXi and containerized environments. Experience with Kubernetes (including Tanzu / TKG) and an understanding of how container platforms are secured and operated in enterprise environments.

· Hybrid Infrastructure & Automation Experience working with hybrid infrastructures and infrastructure-as-code or automation tooling (e.g. Terraform CLI), with a focus on consistency, scalability, and risk reduction.

· Security-Aware Operations Mindset Comfortable operating in regulated, high-security environments, understanding the importance of change control, resilience, and secure operations.

· Communication & Advisory Skills Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset; able to explain complex technical and security concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.

· Autonomy & Ownership Self-driven and proactive, able to manage priorities independently while operating in fast-paced, security-critical environments.

· Security Clearance Ability to obtain security clearance is mandatory.

· Languages Fluent in English; Swedish is a strong advantage.

· Certifications (Nice to Have) Relevant certifications such as VMware (VCP-APP / VCP-DCV), Kubernetes (CKA), or Networking (CCNA) are considered a plus.

Skills Required

  • 3+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Critical IT Infrastructure roles.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Windows Server, and enterprise networking.
  • Strong technical skills in Red Hat OpenShift / VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Terraform CLI and managing cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
  • Fluent in English (Swedish is a strong plus).
