The Role

Description

Minute Media is a leading global sports content and technology company. Our proprietary tech platform enables the creation, distribution, and monetization of digital content experiences across our portfolio, including our O&O content brands -Sports Illustrated, The Players' Tribune, 90min, FanSided, and Mental Floss – and our publishing partners.

The Yield & Revenue Strategy team is seeking a Yield Analyst to drive revenue optimization and performance across Minute Media’s portfolio. This role will focus on both our O&O network and key partner revenue streams, including advertisers, content, and publishers.

The ideal candidate is an analytical, results-oriented professional with experience in providing operational insights and actionable optimizations in the digital media landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze revenue, supply, and demand patterns to provide data-driven yield-maximization recommendations.
  • Evaluate and optimize video player settings, including monetization, content distribution, and ad rules across Minute Media’s publisher partners.
  • Support supply allocation for key advertising campaigns, ensuring strategic budget distribution to maximize yield.
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting video delivery, errors, and margin loss across the business.
  • Provide regular insights on publisher performance, pricing strategies, and ad setup efficiency.
  • Maintain relationships with publishers, address reporting and ad setup requests, and provide best-practice recommendations.
  • Work with Ad Tech and BI teams to refine tools, create dashboards, and drive optimization efforts.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative or analytical field.
  • 3+ years in digital media, revenue operations, AdOps, or media analysis. Experience at a publisher, agency, brand, or tech platform preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Looker, or similar analytics tools.
  • Understanding platforms like The Trade Desk and Google DV360 is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
