TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER - FRANCE

Reporting to: IT Director – France

Location: Paris-France

OVERVIEW

Nature and aim of the position

The holder of this position is managing technical integration projects with external partners (merchants, Point of sales vendors, Payment service providers…) from the definition phase, execution and the rollout of the developed and certified solution.

Scope of these projects is the integration of Tax Free Shopping (TFS) functionalities into merchant solutions (terminals, POS systems, retail services). These projects can span across multiple countries mostly -but not limited to- within the EU zone 

The candidate must have a strong service ethic & good communication skill, as the role is client-facing dealing directly with external client/partners.

Position could requires travelling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main duties and responsibilities

o Deliver projects within scope, timeline, budget and in compliance with the processes of Global Blue Professional Services
o Interface with internal and external project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of Global Blue services
o Support the Commercial Organization with technical consultancy and process guidance.
o Provide 2nd level support to the local Field Service teams
o Create and maintain documentation on owned projects
o Manage new technical Partners Integration, ensure correct governance of the relationships and required documentation
o Ensure that the implemented Issuing Solutions are anchored correctly in the GB organization
o Maintain Country Requirement updated.

o Technology and Product (central)

REQUIREMENTS

o Experience in managing technical projects with external stakeholders
o IT educational background
o Experience in working with virtual and distributed teams
o Customer consulting services
o Independent and self-motivating personality
o Working knowledge within the retail industry preferred

Languages

o French language: Native
o English language: Fluent
 

Specific skills and knowledge

o Solid understanding of Point-of-sale related technology and transactional systems
o Ability to communicate with external partners in an efficient and structured way 
o Accuracy, ability to analyse situations fast and to identify the correct measures
o Customer oriented approach
o Willingness to enter in technical details
o Structured and flexible at the same time in managing difficult and challenging situations
o Commitment and dedication to work
