Job Title
Technical Account ManagerAs the Account Manager, you will be responsible for account development, portfolio sales, revenue growth and for creating and maintaining positive customer relationships by providing account management, excellent customer service, and technical assistance. You will manage accounts of increasing complexity, revenue, and opportunityRoles and Responsibilities:
- Under minimal supervision, formulate and lead execution of both business development and account management plans to support company sales and profitability objectives.
- Own account relationships and new business opportunities, internally and externally, as the medical imaging account manager.
- Optimize market sales/revenue opportunities by keeping informed of Medical Imaging developments in the field.
- Lead customer conversation through market dynamics within the Medical industry.
- Excellent listening skills for understanding changing customer needs and future technology trends.
- Develop new accounts in defined geographic region with profitable revenue and wallet share growth.
- Grow existing accounts through account development, partnership, portfolio selling and delivery execution through building relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Act as liaison between development, engineering, production, planning, shipping, accounting, sales, distributors, and customers to effectively manage customer needs as well as innovation opportunities.
- Contract review, technical order information, value pricing, ongoing technical support and forecasting customer needs through S&OP.
- Ability to understand complex customer needs both technically and account management. Able to present complex technical projects to management where applicable.
- Organize resources to ensure the necessary information is gathered to analyze the feasibility of establishing long-term contract agreements with customers.
- Facilitate corrective actions for all customer complaints to ensure quality, service, and returned goods issues are addressed appropriately, expeditiously, and identifies the root cause.
- Provide timely response and follow-up to customer requests to include order status, quote status or other information.
- Attend and/or work trade shows as necessary in support of the entire product portfolio.
- Manage all accounts through CRM updating pipeline, contacts, trip reports, call plans and Account Plans.
- Manage all customers payment terms and adherence to terms.
- Capture market intelligence to develop conversations with customers on market trends and actions. Shares market data with Strategic insights for comprehensive overview and market development.
- May provide guidance to Account Managers on best execution of the customer pathway.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years Engineering or Material Science experience preferred.
- 2+ years customer facing or technical account management experience preferred.
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Previous experience with ceramics, technical sales, sales engineering or field sales preferred.
- Metallization or Braze Experience is a plus
- Negotiation skills, value pricing and contracts.
- Proven abilities of strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively.
- Previous experience within SalesForce.
- Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Position Specific Responsibilities:
- Travel: travel to customer locations to promote new products, resolve customer problems, and to represent the Company at trade shows and conferences. Approx. 25%.

Target Hiring Range
Annual Salary: USD 92,000.00 - USD 121,440.00Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
