Technical Account Manager (TAM)

Fisher's is seeking a qualified individual to fill our Technical Account Manager (TAM) position. This individual will need discretion and independent judgement as they will be handling IT customer support, account sales and relationship matters. This individual will be responsible for managing customer issues along with presenting products & services to grow assigned accounts. Candidate should be familiar with VoIP, networking and if possible, physical security products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage base of UIT clients as Technical Account Manager
  • Present products & services to grow revenue in each assigned account
  • Respond to client requests in 24 hours or less.
  • Schedule, plan and execute BTR's (Business Technology Reviews)
  • Act as client's technical accountability partner.
  • Steadily improve the BTR process and execution.
  • Bring all new client opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Bring all client project configurations to internal technical team.
  • Assist in process development for sales and account management team.
  • Engage with Service and Projects to improve execution of IT Services.


  • 3+ Years of technical experience in IT fieldwork, related field or IT Account Management.
  • Must be a sales-oriented person that excels at managing relationships.
  • Must be knowledgeable with VoIP and IT.
  • Must be proficient with Office 365
  • Ability to manage own time and prioritize tasks on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally and 50+ lbs. with assistance.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of computer and server (Network) hardware and software systems.
