Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) on a contract basis to support the deployment and long-term success of our Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions in factory and industrial environments.

This role sits at the intersection of technical delivery, customer success, and after-sales operations, ensuring smooth system integration, reliable performance, and strong customer satisfaction post-deployment.

As a contractor, you will play a hands-on, field-oriented role, working closely with customers, internal engineering teams, and system integration partners to drive successful AMR implementation and scalable operations across key accounts.

Key Responsibilities1. AMR Deployment & Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end AMR deployment projects in factory environments
  • Coordinate with customers, SI partners, and internal teams for on-site implementation
  • Ensure successful system integration (WMS / MES / ERP interfaces, workflows, mapping)
  • Manage timelines, risks, and deliverables across multiple projects
2. After-Sales Support & Account Ownership
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact post-deployment
  • Own customer success metrics: uptime, performance, and expansion opportunities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in live operations
  • Drive continuous improvement based on operational feedback
3. Training & Enablement
  • Develop and deliver training programs for customers and partners
  • Create SOPs, playbooks, and operational guidelines
  • Enable customers to independently manage daily robot operations
  • Share field insights and best practices with internal teams
4. System Integration & Technical Support
  • Work with engineering teams to support integration with factory systems
  • Provide hands-on support for networking, APIs, and fleet management systems
  • Collaborate on customization requirements for enterprise customers
  • Assist in debugging and improving system reliability
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales to support technical pre-sales and expansion opportunities
  • Provide structured feedback to Product & Engineering teams
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners within the AMR ecosystem

QualificationsMust-Have
  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • AMR / AGV systems, robotics, or industrial automation
    • OR Technical Account Management / Field Application Engineering
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Factory operations / warehouse automation
    • System integration (WMS, MES, APIs, networking)
  • Proven experience managing deployment projects in industrial environments
  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with ability to work on-site
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Bilingual: English (business level) and Chinese (fluent)
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience working with System Integrators (SI)
  • Knowledge of ROS, fleet management systems, or robotics software stacks
  • Background in after-sales support or customer success roles

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience in AMR / AGV systems, robotics, or industrial automation or Technical Account Management
  • Strong understanding of factory operations and system integration

  • Bilingual: English and Chinese
