As a Kasten SME Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Veeam, you will be at the forefront of innovation, providing expert-level technical guidance and support to our customers, focusing on Kasten by Veeam solutions for Kubernetes data management. You will leverage your deep understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and optimization of Kasten solutions, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. 

Your tasks will include:

  • Customer Engagement: 
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers using Kasten solutions. 
  • Assist customers in defining and achieving their goals for Kasten deployment, adoption, and standardization. 
  • Conduct regular reviews and presentations on Kasten product roadmaps and strategies. 
  • Provide proactive support and influence data management deployment growth. 
  • Technical Expertise: 
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies. 
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, security considerations, and efficient management of Kasten solutions. 
  • Lead technical workshops, visioning sessions, and training for customers. 
  • Support pre-sales activities and represent Veeam at industry events and trade shows. 
  • Knowledge of Security, Data protection and other Veeam Technologies is an appreciated plus 
  • Issue Resolution: 
  • Act as the point of accountability for driving issue resolution related to Kasten solutions. 
  • Partner with internal resources to deliver content or resolve issues as needed. 
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers, fostering open communication. 
  • Mentorship and Leadership: 
  • Mentor and coach other TAMs on Kasten solutions and best practices. 
  • Lead discussions in TAM forums and contribute to the development of best practices. 
  • Represent Veeam externally, particularly in presenting to large groups and with critical decision-makers. 

What we expect from you: 

  • Education and Certifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certifications. 
  • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) and Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA) certifications are preferred. 
  • Experience: 
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role. 
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container technologies. 
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. 
  • Skills: 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to engage with customers at all levels, including CXO. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
