Job Summary
We are seeking two Strategic
Technical Account Managers (Academics) to drive simulation adoption and
research excellence across prestigious academic institutions and government
R&D labs in the West and South regions. Reporting to the Technical Lead –
Academics, you will be the technical face of CADFEM, ensuring that universities
and research centers effectively utilize the Ansys portfolio to advance
scientific discovery and engineering education.
Key
Responsibilities:
· Academic Account Management: Serve as the
primary technical point of contact for universities and research labs, focusing
on software utilization, research success, and long-term institutional
relationships.
· Research Enablement: Work with professors, researchers,
and PhD scholars to map Ansys Multiphysics solutions (Structures, Fluids,
Electronics, Optics) to their specific research projects and grant
requirements.
· CoE Implementation: Support the deployment of regional
Centers of Excellence (CoEs). Assist institutions in establishing workflows for
Digital Twin, Autonomous Vehicles, and Systems Engineering.
· Curriculum Integration: Collaborate with
HODs and faculty to integrate simulation-driven design into undergraduate and
postgraduate engineering curricula.
· Technical Advocacy: Organize and lead "Academic Tech
Days," Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and Hands-on Workshops to
showcase the value of the full Ansys stack in a research context.
· Talent Bridge: Facilitate connections between academic
research output and industrial requirements, leveraging CADFEM’s network to
promote student skill development and placement.

Candidate Profile:
· Education: Master’s in Engineering (PhD preferred or
a strong background in academic research).
· Experience: 5–8 years in Application Engineering,
Technical Support, or Academic Liaison within the CAE/CAD industry.
· Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience
with the Ansys Multiphysics suite. Ability to troubleshoot complex
research-level simulations.
· Academic Insight: Familiarity with the regional
academic ecosystem (e.g., IITs, NITs, and private research universities in the
South/West) and the institutional procurement process.
· Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within
the region to maintain high-touch customer engagement.
Skills Required
