Under the general direction of the Process Engineer, employee will be trained on the installation and removal of molds, auxiliary equipment and technical analysis associated with the mold change.
EDUCATION AND/OR SPECIAL TRAINING
Requires mechanically inclined individual, whom have worked in a manufacturing or mechanical environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Employee will go thru a specialized training before he/she begins on the job training to evaluate their ability to perform said duties.
- Employee will be trained to trouble-shoot and perform preventive maintenance on molds and related peripherals.
- Will be able to safely install and remove molds from injecting molding machine according to the working procedures and 5’s checklist.
- Prepare and submit Daily Log sheet, MRR (Mold Repair Request) and PM (Preventive maintenance request) as required in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in performing all tasks related to the 5S Checklist, utilizing the application aforementioned production peripherals.
- Adheres to approved Company, Safety, and Department policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned or are not included here but are within the context of duties defined.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred manufacturing background in Injection Molding.
- Mechanically Inclined basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery.
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Managers and supervisors.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem-solve.
