Responsibilities  

• Lead the team responsible for testing products and gathering data for reviews, ensuring quality standards are upheld
• Coaching the team in applying proper testing philosophies 
• Provide insightful training and meaningful challenges to help grow team members' careers 
• Help guide team through collaborative efforts and communicate with other departments
• Fosters a culture of open feedback, ensuring clear communication of performance expectations and goals; give performance evaluations
• Handle the day-to-day workload and resource planning for your team to accomplish department goals
• Future planning for the team and identifying risks early; take proactive action
• Ensure consistent application of company-wide and testing processes

Qualification/Experience

• DEC or equivalent degree; technical or management focus a strong asset
• 3-5 years of working experience as a technician, QA, or in a relevant field
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams
• Knowledge/passion and curiosity for technology, consumer products and electronics 
• Good at analyzing and contextualizing data to validate team quality output 
• Good at problem-solving and decision-making
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and French
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
