Job Description
Emulate3D digital twin software empowers people to better envision, test, and create automation systems. As a Digital Twin Technical Consultant, you will solve real-world engineering challenges using Emulate3D and related digital engineering tools. This is a customer-facing role with a goal of driving adoption and revenue, both from software and services. As part of Rockwell Automation's Digital Service team, you will help accelerate the success of digital transformation initiatives.
We are looking for a consultant in digital project delivery team who has a depth of experience in logistics & industrial simulation, controls engineering, robotics, and digital design tools. Your primary responsibility is to provide technical consultation to external clients, transforming ambiguous solution objectives (the "what") to specific design architectures, proofs of concept, and functional prototypes (the "how"). You will be a guiding figure for clients with your subject matter expertise, continuing to assist them as their adoption scales with value-added success. Your focus will be digital twin project using Rockwell Automation's Emulate3D software, you should also be comfortable working with connected software tools for robot programming, PLC programming, and mechanical/electrical CAD.

Your Responsibilities:- Provide technical support during strategic pre-sales engagements, including demos and proof-of-concept modeling.
- As consultant and technical lead of external customer digital twin projects to ensure the success of project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Be an expert in digital twin engineering, including process simulation, optimization consultant, system emulation. Representing Emulate3D in customer engagements and internal strategy discussions.
- Lead and contribute to client meetings, pre-sales & project workshops, and industry events
- Deliver consulting clients projects using Emulate3D and related digital engineering tools (such as Nvidia Omniverse, Ansys, MATLAB Simulink), including: pre-sales activities, solution consultant, project delivery, personalized training services, and development.
- Create technical documentation, including blueprint design, modeling standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Support integrations with complementary tools such as robot programming environments, PLC software, and CAD platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
- typically requires 5 or more years of related experience in industry and logistics.
- Solid experience using Emulate3D or related digital twin / digital engineering tools, especially in the context of simulation, emulation, controls testing, and virtual commissioning.
- Have solid project delivery & management experience with external customers. Has project management certification is a plus
- Experience with scripting and programming, especially in object-oriented languages such as C#. Can create lightweight scripts for task automation or customization activities.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation products, especially Studio 5000 Logix Designer, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and FactoryTalk Logix Echo. Understanding of how a PLC functions, including interpreting and writing PLC logic.
- Experience with robot simulation software, including one/more of: FANUC ROBOGUIDE, ABB RobotStudio, Yaskawa Motosim, or Siemens Technomatix Process Simulate. Understanding concepts related to robot programming.
- Experience with mechanical CAD software, including one/more of: SOLIDWORKS, AutoDesk Inventor, and PTC Creo. Understanding 3D CAD concepts such as joints, assemblies, distinction between parametric geometry and mesh-based representations.
