About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, designing Azure cloud based data solutions, and enabling analytics workloads. The ideal candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise grade data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and manage Azure Databricks notebooks (PySpark/Spark).
- Implement Azure Synapse Analytics pipelines, datasets, and SQL pools.
- Manage and optimize Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2.
- Ensure data quality, data validation, and reliability across all data flows.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workloads using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and enhance performance.
- Work with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API integrations when required.
- Ensure security and compliance through proper access controls, encryption, and data governance standards.
Preferred Certifications (Mandatory)
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate

- 10+ years experience in data engineering
