Tech Rep/TSPOC - H Product Support
Location: AHE - Getafe
Mission:
- As part of AHE H Product Support team, jobholder will reinforce our team which aims to provide technical support to in-service H135 Spanish fleets, among other Airbus Helicopters products.
- This in-service Technical Support Service (TSS) contributes to ensure Continuing Airworthiness and fleet serviceability, bringing solutions to technical problems encountered on in-service aircrafts.
- AHE Product Support organization acts as unique technical communication channel (TSPOC: Technical Single Point of Contact) between Spanish End Users and AHE/AH Central for all
technical queries & events, particular and mainly in this position from Spanish Air Force and Navy H135 Fleets. Downstream investigations and resolutions are handled and substantiated within the AHE and/or AHD organization, for German models range.
Main Activities:
· Be functionally integrated in AHE/AHD/AH Technical Support organization where all in-service technical queries raised by customers towards Industry are allocated.
· Placed in GETAFE factory hierarchically belongs to AHE Technical Support (EBSSAT) department within H Product Support team. Temporally deployments in customer operating bases are within position scope.
· Handling answers/solutions within Industry for all kind of technical queries raised mainly by Sp Air Force and Navy related to H135 helicopter. As well as, queries launched by AHE MRO to support maintenance revisions and delivery commitments and retrofits are also within this scope.
· As entry point of in-service technical queries (as TSPOC), perform first technical assessment and forward investigation to suitably departments within Airbus Technical Support network.
· Push, handle and follow up internal investigations/solutions to get answers/substantiation along TS community and provide technical resolutions to SP customers/End Users queries according to
Spanish Military Airworthiness rules.
· Have quick reaction and technical analysis skills in front of in-service technical events and occurrences.
- Actively participate and contribute to Airworthiness assessments/investigations (accidents and Mayor incidents) occurred in service from H Spanish fleets.
· When necessary or required, to manage vendor technical communications and potential supplier technical assistances.
· If required, launch/support field technical assistance missions in End User operating bases in coordination with AHE Technical Assistance area.
· To support technically the Warranty process under customer warranty claims.
· Support and analysis definition and implementation of modifications for in-service according to Spanish Military Airworthiness rules.
· Support the creation and definition of Service Bulletins and Technical Publications.
· Contribute to managing and coordination of Technical Assistance missions in End Users facilities.
· Record, track and follow-up all technical events (queries, incidents and TechPub queries) in appropriate CRM ("Customer Relationship Management") tool of Airbus.
· To contribute with in-service feedback and data collection to the Product and Maintenance Improvements.
Key competencies:
- EASA Part 66 LMA B1.3 or B2 (C is also valuable).
- CAA UK and/or PERAM licenses are also valuable.
- Minimum 10 years-experience in aeronautical sector: Helicopters/Aircraft Maintenance, Support Engineering, CAMO and/or maintenance certifying staff.
- H135, NH90, or similar Airbus helicopter programs experience and type licences are very valuable.
- Valuable background: Helicopter Airframes / composite, Avionics, trouble-shooting, repairs, Continuous Airworthiness, technical problem solving, on-site (customer based) experience..
- High level of English. French or German are valuable.
- Ability to work in an international and multi-companies team.
- Customer oriented and communication skills.
- Capable of travelling worldwide for short missions (weeks) and temporally deployments in customer operating bases in Spain (weeks/months).
- Ability to work under customer pressure and in flexible time, if required.
- High reactivity, agility and technical analysis skills.
