Job Summary 🧾
We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Tech Recruiter who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building teams from the ground up. You’ll be more than a recruiter—you’ll be a talent advisor, responsible for driving an outbound talent acquisition strategy and partnering with senior stakeholders to shape the future of Yalo’s tech teams.

Your mission?
- Lead End-to-End Recruitment: From sourcing to offer stage, you’ll own the full recruitment process for technical roles, focusing on quality, speed, and candidate experience.
- Proactively Hunt Top Talent: Drive outbound recruitment strategies by proactively sourcing and reaching out to passive candidates. You're a master at selling the opportunity and getting candidates excited about Yalo’s mission.
- Collaborate with Senior Stakeholders: Partner with leadership and hiring managers to understand business needs, define talent gaps, and deliver strategic recruitment insights.
- Leverage Data Insights: Use analytics to track and report recruitment metrics, providing actionable insights to drive decisions and improve processes.
- Adapt and Innovate: In a fast-paced, evolving startup environment, you’ll be comfortable adjusting priorities and implementing new recruitment strategies as needed.
- Be a Culture Champion: You’ll contribute to shaping the company culture by bringing in candidates who align with our values and vision.
Job Requirements?💻
- Experience in Early-Stage Startups: You have 4+ years of experience recruiting for tech roles in high-growth, fast-paced environments. You know the hustle and what it takes to build teams quickly without compromising quality.
- Business-Minded: A degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field is essential. You understand business goals and can align talent acquisition strategies to meet them.
- Sales Spirit: You’re a natural at selling opportunities, able to engage and excite candidates, especially those who aren’t actively looking.
- Adaptability: You’re used to navigating change and thrive in dynamic settings. You’re a self-starter who can handle ambiguity and pivot quickly when needed.
- Data-Driven: You love numbers. You track key metrics and use data to make informed decisions and drive performance improvements.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: You maintain meticulous records and follow up on candidates, providing hiring managers with the insights they need to make informed decisions.
- Strong Communication Skills: You’re confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and providing constructive feedback to ensure alignment across teams.

What We Do
Yalo helps businesses offer a delightful customer experience on their customers' favorite apps – Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and WeChat. Every business on Yalo has a virtual assistant with an optimized flow that handles customer requests to the point of payment and fulfillment. If at any point the customer need is beyond what the chatflow is capable of doing, the request gets seamlessly transferred to a human agent to provide resolution. Through the Yalo platform, businesses get an artificial intelligence powered CRM that allows them to handle sales and build personal relationships, at scale, on Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and WeChat.
Yalo uses deep learning (a machine learning technique) to have chatbots learn from their human counterparts to continuously improve the experience. The team behind Yalo is composed of Columbia University and Salamanca engineers, former PayPal technical leads, and is supported by a group of investors from New York, Mexico and Latin America.
