With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. The Technology Quality Function is reserved for those positions where Quality is the primary objective of the work delivered. Technology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and services. These roles include, but are not limited to, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery.
This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects for healthcare organizations. The individual will act as a key liaison between the client and Optum Connect, ensuring smooth coordination and successful delivery of projects within the healthcare domain.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Person will be responsible for managing end-to-end projects (clinical and non-clinical) running for the client's initiatives
  • Will be responsible of defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with healthcare regulations and organizational goals
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Identify risks and create mitigation strategies
  • Will be responsible for collaborating with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to gather requirements
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and compliance
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure transparency in progress tracking
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in healthcare
  • Team-oriented skills and ability to lead cross functional teams
  • Communication skills. Must have prior experience working with onshore clients
  • Good experience of any of the project management tool e.g. MS Project, ServiceNow
  • Basic understanding of the IT infrastructure/SDLC
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Oriented to customer service and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Agile experience
  • Familiarity with HIPAA or other compliance standards
