Role description:

The Tech Program Manager III will lead and coordinate enterprise-wide technology programs, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives, effective governance, and active management of interdependencies across multiple projects and workstreams to deliver measurable business outcomes and benefits.

 

Role accountabilities:

  • Leads end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-Tower programs.

  • Establishes governance structures, controls, and standards.

  • Ensures alignment with enterprise strategy and delivery frameworks.

  • Enables structured decision-making through governance forums.

  • Proactively manages program risks and issues.

  • Monitors outcomes beyond delivery into business operations.

  • Supports transition into steady-state operations.

  • Provides integrated program reporting. Including scope, risks, benefits, and dependencies.

  • Maintains a single source of truth for program performance.

  • Enables data-driven decision-making and assurance.

  • Coordinates enterprise DR readiness across technology domains.

  • Leads program coordination during DR events.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in program and project management, including responsibility for complex technology initiatives, transformation programs and enterprise integrations.

  • Proven experience managing complex IT programs and system integrations across multiple workstreams, technologies and stakeholder groups, ensuring effective governance, coordination and delivery.

  • Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies, governance frameworks, risk management and delivery controls, with the ability to manage programs from initiation through implementation and transition.

  • Demonstrated experience working across Business and Technology functions, translating strategic objectives and business requirements into clear program priorities, plans and delivery outcomes.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and engage effectively with executive leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners.

  • High level of autonomy and sound judgment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage complexity and make effective decisions within fast paced and evolving environments.

  • Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to align multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder expectations and drive progress toward shared objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage program risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities, taking proactive action to protect delivery commitments and business outcomes.

  • Strong results orientation, with a consistent focus on delivery quality, accountability and achievement of measurable business and technology outcomes.

  • Experience leading governance forums and executive reporting, providing clear visibility of program performance, risks, decisions and required actions.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving capability, with the ability to assess complex delivery challenges, identify root causes and implement practical solutions that maintain program momentum.

  • Degree level education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or another relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Professional certification in program or project management, such as MSP, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent, is desirable.
