IT Product Manager – ERP Finance

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in product management within complex retail environments.
  • Skilled in driving product initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Adept at collaborating with engineering, platform teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of master data management processes, systems, and data.
  • Effective at prioritizing budgets and resources.

Role Overview:

  • Establish and execute the strategy for master data management Products.
  • Align products with technology, master data, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Procurement and Finance strategies using data-driven decisions.
  • Focus on optimizing ERP Financial Management to increase efficiency within the Merchandising, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance teams and processes.
  • Foster relationships across the company to enhance ERP Master Data Management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to align technology with strategic goals.
  • Analyze current processes and technology to find improvement areas in SAP AP, AR, Asset Management, COPA and GL.
  • Create a strategic roadmap and manage product backlogs.
  • Develops the technical “vision” and designs specifications of assigned projects and may perform as implementation lead.
  • Provides process expertise and solutions in FICO, FSCM, Tax areas and integration with other SAP Modules and non-SAP tools
  • Leading the design efforts of projects to meet business objectives while driving the overall architecture to improve system reliability and flexibility
  • Creates documentation for various stages of planning, design, implementation and support of area but not limiting to SAP FICO, Tax, POSDTA, VISTEX
  • Liaison with vendor partners to provide best class solution within the architectural standards
  • Define and measure KPIs for product adoption and performance.
  • Promote cross-departmental collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Proven product management experience in retail.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required in the area of specialty (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Information Technology. MBA or CPA a plus).
  • At least 7 years of SAP FICO, Tax with progressive responsibility and influence.
  • At least 2 to 3 full cycles SAP implementation projects with hand-on project experience designing, testing and implementing FICO & Tax solutions
  • Knowledge of IS Retail is a must with focus on POSDTA
  • Understanding of integration points of FI and Tax with SD/MM/IM and other modules
  • Knowledge on VISTEX is a plus
  • Knowledge/Certification or implementation experience of S/4 HANA or Simple Finance is a plus
  • Knowledge of Sales & Use Tax, VAT, Statutory Reporting, Income Tax Provision, Tax Compliance
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, Statutory reporting
  • Experience working with Tax, 3rd party Tax software tools
  • Experienced working on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive organizational change.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $122,500.00.
