You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance, budget and timeline development, build quality, testing and operational readiness, and the completed project's readiness to go live.
How you will contribute
You will:
  • Drive consistency and quality in the execution of projects using the appropriate methodology and tools
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks and escalate them to global leads and/ or the program manager when needed
  • Provide project reporting and status updates using scorecards, status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetings
  • Lead budget management, resource planning and utilization
  • Confirm the completion and consistency of projects and their readiness to go live
  • Own the relationship with the external vendors including quality assurance in all phases of project delivery

Project PMO Manager oversees and manages the Project Management Office (PMO) function for projects S4/O9, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful implementation. This role involves planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects, managing budgets and timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams. The PMO Manager also focuses on risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution:

Developing project plans and timelines for implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
  • Team Management:

Building and managing project teams, assigning tasks, and fostering collaboration.
  • Risk and Issue Management:

Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues, and developing contingency plans.
  • Stakeholder Management:

Communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and managing their expectations.
  • Resource Management:

Ensuring the availability of resources (people, budget, etc.) for project success.
  • Quality Assurance:

Enforcing quality control processes and ensuring that the system meets business requirements.
  • Process Improvement:

Identifying opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies within the PMO.
  • Coaching and Mentoring:

Providing guidance and support to project managers and team members.
  • PMO Development:

Contributing to the development of the PMO's capabilities and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • SAP Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP modules and Others Systems like O9 Solutions (e.g., S/4HANA) and their integration points.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing ERP projects, including implementation, rollout, and upgrades.
  • PMO Experience: Experience in establishing and managing a Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide project teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
