So, what’s the role all about?
We are looking for an experienced Tech Manager - Networks is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, security, and maintenance of an organization’s network infrastructure. This role requires managing a team of network engineers, ensuring high availability, and optimizing network performance to support business operations.
How will you make an impact?
- Support local network and system engineers, including mentoring, coaching, timesheets, and other HR related paperwork.
- Lead and manage multiple networking and cloud operations projects from start to finish including project plans, goals, budgets, and identifying necessary resources.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align projects with business objectives.
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion of projects including project documentation.
- Technical participant and lead for one of the network teams supporting and maintaining global network across private and public clouds.
- Provide operational support and configuration for network infrastructure devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.), VPNs, routing protocols, VLANs, and security policies.
- Adhere to network architecture standards and Create / Maintain documentation.
- Participate in on-call support rotation, Incident, Problem (RCA), Service and Change Management.
- Communicate in an effective and professional manner with internal and external customers.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
Have you got what it takes?
- 8+ years of proven work-related experience is required in configuration of Network technologies, Routers and routing protocols of OSPF and BGP.
- Systems administration experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding and experience with TCP/IP, IPSec VPN, Routers/Switches.
- Strong understanding of public cloud technologies and experience with load-balancing technologies, firewalls and packet capture tools.
- Experience working with Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5.
- Shift Time: 2:00 PM / 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
