Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our Global Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of highly scalable, cloud-native applications while providing deep technical expertise and team leadership.
You will join a dynamic, cross-functional team of engineers and architects dedicated to building secure, high-performance systems that drive business growth through modern distributed architectures.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Responsibility 1: Lead the end-to-end development of product features—from technical design through production release—ensuring the delivery of high-quality software components using Java and Python.
Responsibility 2: Collaborate with product management, architecture, and DevOps (Development and Operations) teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable cloud-native solutions.
Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with organizational standards by implementing security-by-design principles, performing rigorous unit testing, and mentoring team members on engineering best practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a proven track record of working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure, alongside expertise in microservices architecture and Container Orchestration using Kubernetes.
Proven ability in diagnosing and resolving complex production issues and optimizing application code for high-volume, high-throughput transactional systems.
Extensive experience with both relational and NoSQL (Not Only Structured Query Language) databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
