AppSec Technical Leader

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

We are seeking a highly skilled AppSec leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, vast experience in application security practices, Secure Software development Lifecycle and DevSecOps methodologies, as well as, red teaming activities and security framework compliance.

What you’ll do?

• Lead the AppSec maturity program and define and execute the Secure Software Development Lifecycle roadmap.

• Oversee the security by default and security ownership in every area of the company.

• Select, train and be the principal point of contact for the security champions in the company.

• Train developers in secure coding practices, secure design, and general SSDLC activities and security risks in applications.

• Work closely with the DevOps team to embed security in CI/CD pipelines as part of the company’s DevSecOps strategy.

• Own the app vulnerability management program.

• Oversee the proper functioning, execution and operations of SSDLC tools like SAST and DAST.

• Guarantee compliance with security frameworks in terms of product development lifecycle and secure supply chain.

Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?

What you’ll need?

• Professional degree in software engineering/ computer science or similar.

• 3+ Years of experience in software development

• 7+ Years of experience in Information security (Doesn’t have to be different from development experience)

• 5+ Year of experience AppSec.

• 3+ Years of experience leading security teams

• Experience with DevSecOps tools, DAST, SAST, CI/CD automation servers(like jenkins)

• English B2

Nice to have:

• Experience in AWS environment

• Experience in Jenkins

• Experience with Snyk

• Experience with Java, Python and Kotlin
