We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to architect and build a next-generation internal technology platform from the ground up. This is not a conventional product ownership role—the ideal candidate combines deep software engineering expertise, database architecture knowledge, product thinking, and technical leadership to create scalable systems that will support long-term business growth.

In this role, you will define the technical vision, establish engineering best practices, and lead the development of mission-critical platforms spanning customer management, operational workflows, data infrastructure, and AI-ready systems. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions while building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Design and own the long-term system architecture and technology roadmap for internal platforms.
  • Build scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure designed for future growth.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams during product requirement definition and technical validation.
  • Lead the engineering team by defining development standards, code quality practices, and hiring strategies.
  • Design and implement modern data platforms capable of supporting analytics, AI, and machine learning workloads.
  • Develop scalable APIs, backend services, and platform components that enable seamless integration across systems.
  • Establish security best practices, access controls, compliance standards, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
  • Drive engineering excellence through architecture reviews, mentoring, and continuous process improvements.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that improve scalability, productivity, and platform reliability.
Required Qualifications
  • 8–15 years of experience in Software Engineering, Technical Architecture, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, or related fields.
  • Prior experience as a Technical Lead, Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, Engineering Lead, Database Architect, or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience building enterprise platforms or internal systems from the ground up (0→1).
  • Strong experience leading engineering teams and driving technical decision-making.
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Technical SkillsDatabase & Data Architecture
  • Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent database technologies.
System Architecture
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems and scalable application architecture.
  • Experience designing secure APIs and service-oriented platforms.
  • Expertise in scalability, resiliency, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building platforms in regulated or data-intensive industries.
  • Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, deployment pipelines, or analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows and enterprise platform engineering.
  • Ability to think strategically about long-term architecture while balancing immediate business priorities.
  • Passion for designing highly scalable systems and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
