Job Summary
As a Tech Lead, you will be a reference when communicating with the team and stakeholders (including the customer). You must actively support the development teams and mentor less experienced team members. You will work in a dynamic team to provide web services solutions on a platform and features development and maintenance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Actively support the development teams;
- Mentor less experienced team members;
- Work in a dynamic team to provide web services solutions;
- Development of a new platform and features considering scalability, performance, and security requirements;
- Participation in the complete cycle of development from requirements refinement, development, and testing;
- Contribute to technical/architectural discussions/decisions with customers.
Essential Skills
- Experience leading development teams;
- Proficiency with development in Python versions 2 and 3;
- Experience with Django and Flask frameworks;
- Experience with pyTest;
- Experience with Javascript with emphasis on frontend (JQuery);
- Experience with Linux environments;
- Experience with modeling, producing, and consuming web services-based APIs (RESTful);
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Highly Desirable Skills
- Experience with Python 2;
- Experience with Salesforce integration via APIs;
- Experience with Docker;
- Experience with Jenkins;
- Experience with OpenShift;
- Knowledge of Agile development (e.g. using Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.);
- Familiarity with principles of distributed systems.
