Role Overview
The LearningConnector Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining LearningConnector—our enterprise learning platform that supports customer, partner, and internal technical enablement. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and user-focused solutions that power self-guided learning, instructor-led training, certifications, and learning analytics.
You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, instructional designers, and enablement stakeholders to translate learning and business needs into high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Development & Enhancement
- Design, develop, and maintain features within the LearningConnector platform, including learning delivery, enrollment, certification tracking, notifications, and reporting.
- Implement scalable backend services and APIs to support learning workflows and system integrations.
- Build and enhance frontend experiences to improve learner and administrator usability.
Systems Integration
- Integrate LearningConnector with enterprise systems such as CRM, identity management (SSO), content repositories, analytics platforms, and third-party learning tools.
- Ensure reliable data flows for learner activity, completion tracking, and certification records.
Quality, Performance & Security
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security, including monitoring, logging, and proactive issue resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement efforts.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and instructional designers to deliver solutions aligned to learning and business objectives.
- Support operational teams by addressing defects, enhancements, and platform optimization requests.
- Contribute technical input to roadmap planning and architectural decisions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve learning platform scalability and efficiency.
- Support experimentation with AI-driven capabilities, automation, and personalization within LearningConnector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably with SaaS or enterprise platforms.
- Experience with modern backend technologies (e.g., REST APIs, microservices, cloud-based architectures).
- Experience with frontend development frameworks and responsive UI design.
- Proficiency with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data integration patterns.
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization, SSO, and secure application development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms (LXP), or education technology.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems (CRM, analytics, identity providers).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting global platforms with localization and regional requirements.
- Interest in or experience applying AI/automation to content delivery, analytics, or personalization.
- Experience working in agile or product-based development teams.
