What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly landing pages, websites, and web applications.
- Collaborate closely with designers to transform mockups and wireframes into pixel-perfect, fully functional interfaces.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using HTML, CSS, and React.js.
- Work with Storyblok as a headless CMS, creating modular components following Atomic Design principles.
- Design and implement smooth, engaging animations to enhance interactivity and elevate user experience.
- Optimize website performance, load speed, and SEO to enhance visibility and user engagement.
- Ensure seamless cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Identify, debug, and resolve issues throughout development and post-launch phases.
What you need to have:
- Proven expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with over 5 years of front-end development experience, including 1–2 years working with React.js.
- Demonstrated ability to lead front-end teams, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance development culture.
- Strong grasp of responsive design principles, with a track record of building mobile-friendly, accessible websites that perform across all devices.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI fundamentals and a history of effective collaboration with design teams to deliver intuitive, user-focused interfaces.
- Proficient in Git and experienced in collaborative coding environments, including agile workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Well-versed in SEO best practices for front-end development to ensure optimized site visibility and performance.
- Skilled in working with RESTful APIs and seamlessly integrating backend data into dynamic front-end applications.
- Detail-oriented and passionate about writing clean, maintainable code, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communicator and team player, with a proven ability to align technical efforts with broader project goals.
What we would love to see:
- Experience with modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind, Bootstrap, or similar.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Basic knowledge of back-end technologies (Node.JS, Express, or databases) for better collaboration.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and building inclusive web experiences.
- Experience working with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Strapi).
- A portfolio showcasing creative and engaging web projects.
- Interest in experimenting with new web technologies and frameworks.
- A passion for creating seamless, intuitive, and enjoyable user experiences.
- Proactive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding results.
