Position Overview

Lead commercialization and launch excellence for surgical robotic technologies, digital solutions, and emerging healthcare innovations across the UKI market. This Senior Manager will drive cross-functional launch execution, identify opportunities to accelerate adoption, and translate technology and innovation into scalable, customer-focused commercial solutions. Working closely with regional and global partners, the role will help shape commercialization strategies, support innovation adoption, and enable sustainable growth through effective market deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead launch excellence activities for surgical robotic technologies, digital solutions, and associated healthcare platforms, developing readiness criteria, launch plans, risk mitigation strategies, playbooks, and post-launch optimization initiatives.

  • Evaluate and implement innovative commercial approaches that support customer needs, market adoption, and sustainable business growth.

  • Provide local market insights to inform innovation priorities and commercialization strategies by partnering with key stakeholders across the business.

  • Coordinate cross-functional internal functions on key milestones and decision points.

  • Develop repeatable commercialization tools, and best practices to accelerate future launches and capability deployment.

  • Create and implement commercial playbooks and supporting materials to enable successful adoption and expansion of surgical robotic and digital platforms.

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, industry partners, innovation networks, and strategic collaborators to support adoption and growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead commercialization and launch readiness activities for surgical robotic technologies and related digital platforms, ensuring successful market deployment.

  • Represent the UKI business in regional and global forums relating to technology, innovation, and commercialization.

  • Partner with regional and global teams to develop effective UKI commercialization strategies.

  • Identify and develop opportunities to enhance customer adoption, market growth, and long-term value creation.

  • Provide analysis, insights, and progress updates to senior leadership on critical projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Support achievement of commercial and financial objectives for assigned platforms and initiatives.

Experience and Education

  • BA/BS required; MA, MSc, MBA preferred

  • Experienced leader with demonstrated track record in multiple business situations: new business, turnaround and change management, realignment and sustain the success model

  • MedTech experience essential, experience in surgical and capital business preferred

  • Strong business and financial competence and strategic mentality

  • Experience in leading complex commercial activities incl. multi stakeholder negotiations

  • Awareness of local economic environment and dynamics of UK healthcare market

  • Track record in building mutually beneficial networks and partnership models with key external leaders and agencies to develop value-generating solutions

  • Drive for results—set the pace for the team to deliver stretch initiatives and to take required decisions

  • Unquestioned ethics, integrity, and Credo-based leadership

  • Strong organizational leadership, with ability to inspire and mobilize a large organization through periods of continuous change and transformation

  • Demonstrated enterprise attitude, with ability to influence and collaborate in a global, matrixed environment to achieve business objectives

  • The role includes attendance at local congresses which may include weekends
