TECH DESIGNER INTERNWhat You'll DoWe are looking for a Technical Design Intern to join our IP team. As part of the IP Publishing and Development team, you will be given feature work at different stages of development (i.e. prototyping, research, implementation, analysis) to help us build IP-themed content and tools for Creators building games out in the Fortnite Ecosystem. You will work closely with our team of designers who’ll support, guide, and mentor you, and with counterparts across other disciplines on our IP team to help build something Creators will really enjoy!
In this role, you will- Perform product research and market analysis for new tools and content
- Assist with documentation - one-sheets, TDDs, test plans, user documentation
- Prototyping and R&D for new features between Unreal and UEFN
- Assist with implementation of IP features (such as cosmetics, NPCs)
- Assist in template and test map creation
- Capture and action on feedback through bug fixing
- Experience in Unreal or UEFN a must
- Demonstrated coding skills a must (Python, C#, C++)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong desire and fast capacity to learn our development process
- Friendly and easy-going demeanor to fit in with our fast-paced but welcoming team
- Verse experience a nice-to-have
