You will join our SWARCO ITS team and play a central role in the organisation’s further development. In this key position, you will play a decisive role in shaping the ITS Division’s international accounting functions. You will work closely with the Head of Finance, the CFO, the Group Finance team and the local finance teams worldwide. As a skilled sparring partner for management and international stakeholders, you will actively support the management of a dynamic, growth-oriented group.
Job Description- Professional and disciplinary management responsibility for the ITS Group Accounting Team
- Coordination and quality assurance of the subsidiaries’ monthly reporting, including intercompany reconciliation
- Preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and review of the IFRS reporting packages
- Designing the implementation of central holding company functions within the company’s Group Accounting department
- Providing technical and IT support and advice to domestic and foreign subsidiaries
- Designing and further developing consolidation processes, including the consolidation and reporting software (SAP SEM-BCS)
- Further development of the Group and accounting policies, as well as maintenance of the Group chart of accounts in SAP
- Preparation of specific accounting matters in accordance with IFRS
- Involvement in integration processes following acquisitions and in internal transformation projects
- A successfully completed degree with a specialisation in accounting, finance, management accounting, etc.
- Several years’ relevant professional experience in an international environment
- Extensive leadership experience and skills
- Knowledge of IFRS and the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB)
- Experience in budgeting, multi-year planning, group accounting and international tax matters
- Experience with consolidation software and/or ERP systems (particularly SAP) would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Strong analytical and holistic thinking
- Initiative, quick comprehension and an independent, meticulous and proactive approach to work
