The Role
As the Team Lead for Field Recovery, you will spearhead our efforts in managing the recovery of outstanding debts. Your leadership will be vital in guiding a dedicated team to achieve outstanding results while maintaining positive relationships with our clients. Every interaction counts, and you'll be at the forefront of ensuring customers feel valued while we help them navigate their financial responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Field Recovery Officers, providing them with the tools and motivation they need to excel in their roles.
- Develop and implement effective recovery strategies that balance our commitment to customer care with the need for collections.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular feedback to your team to help them grow and improve.
- Engage with clients directly, resolving difficulties, and working towards amicable debt settlements that benefit both parties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and enhance our overall customer experience.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance regulations to ensure our recovery processes are both effective and ethical.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in debt recovery or a related field, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills that foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical abilities and a data-driven approach to measuring performance and making informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of relating effectively with both internal teams and customers.
- A passion for problem-solving and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Experience in the Fintech industry is a major plus – we love to see candidates familiar with our space!

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in field recovery or debt collections, with at least 2 year in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of recovery processes and customer relationship management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
