As a Product Marketing Manager, you will work closely with our founders to shape messaging and positioning - from the initial pitch deck to full company collateral and launch. You will also play a crucial role in driving thought leadership initiatives, including supporting Team8 partners’ publications and strengthening the Team8 brand in the data space.
Support Cybersecurity & Software Infrastructure Portfolio Companies with Product Marketing
- Develop a deep understanding of portfolio companies’ customers, use cases, value propositions, market landscape, and competition to drive customer engagement.
- Craft compelling product positioning, messaging, and marketing strategies grounded in market research and data analysis.
- Create impactful content that effectively communicates value to customers, including blurbs, one-pagers, sales decks, design partner offerings, and landing pages.
- Lead and orchestrate launch plans for portfolio companies, serving as the central project owner across internal stakeholders and external partners (branding, PR, digital, and content agencies). Drive timelines, align priorities, ensure cross-functional coordination, and hold all parties accountable to deliver high-impact launches on schedule.
- Partner cross-functionally to translate strategy into product marketing deliverables, working closely with Strategy & Tech Research, Marketing, and Business Development.
- Manage portfolio companies’ go-to-market and launch plans, collaborating with external agencies (branding, PR, and digital marketing).

Define, Develop & Execute Team8 Marketing Strategy
- Work closely with Team8 Partners to develop thought leadership content and stay ahead of industry trends in cybersecurity and data.
- Strategically build and enhance the Team8 brand in the software infrastructure domain (AI, data, and DevOps).
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing within cybersecurity/software infrastructure companies, with a strong focus on technical audiences.
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity/software infrastructure - a must. Strong understanding of the industry, including product branding, positioning, and content creation for CISO/CTO/CIO buyers.
- Hands-on experience in email marketing, content creation, and in-product campaigns.
- Proven expertise in brand building and developing thought leadership programs that drive measurable impact.
- Exceptionally strong writing skills, with a passion for copy-editing across all marketing collateral types.
- Native or near-native English proficiency—mandatory (both written and verbal).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.
