Your role
Join Munich Electrification (ME) as a Team Manager in Program Management and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products. In this leadership position, you will guide a dynamic team of technical project managers and product owners to ensure the successful execution of our customer projects. Your expertise in the automotive sector, whether from Tier 1 suppliers or OEMs, will be essential in driving team performance and customer satisfaction. You will foster a good working relationship with your counterparts both at the customers and internally at ME. Furthermore you will manage the resources required for projects, prioritizing activities in a multi-project landscape and ensuring timely delivery of the key milestones. Your future tasks at a glance
- Lead Project Execution: Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and timely milestone achievement.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and direct your team to foster collaboration and excellence in project management.
- People Management: Set clear objectives and align team goals with ME’s strategic vision, supporting professional development and performance.
- Resource Allocation: Strategically plan and control resources to optimize productivity and support sales in timeline creation and effort estimation.
- Escalation Management: Act as the first point of escalation, facilitating problem-solving and informed decision-making.
- Cross-Department Communication: Enhance collaboration within the team and across departments, ensuring seamless information flow.
What you bring with you
- A completed university degree in an engineering field.
- At least 8 years of proven experience in battery or automotive ECU/electronics development at an OEM or Tier 1.
- A strong customer-focused mindset and confidence in stakeholder interactions.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating diverse teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry and adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Strong decision-making skills and initiative with a commitment to achieving results.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German, with a focus on teamwork.
