Role Overview
Leads the Corporate Governance function, ensuring compliant, consistent, and high-quality entity support across the Group. The Manager is responsible for building the team’s document infrastructure, service standards, and development pathways, while overseeing all operational governance activity and external intermediary coordination. The Manager will also have structured exposure to Regulatory team initiatives and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the Corporate Governance team, aligning team efforts to strategic priorities and monitoring capacity levels.
Oversee entity lifecycle activity across multiple jurisdictions, including incorporations, governance events, and dissolutions.
Serve as primary escalation point and relationship owner for intermediaries (corporate agents, regulators, banks, etc.).
Create and maintain a comprehensive document infrastructure to drive consistency, including:
- Checklists (e.g., incorporations, offboardings)
- Standard templates (resolutions, minutes, budgets)
- Centralised policies and processes index
- Onboarding and training packs for new team members
- Team SLAs and SOPs, including communication to wider business
Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity on team deliverables and setting realistic expectations.
Lead the weekly governance reporting process, including PowerBI dashboards, capacity monitoring, SLA adherence, regulatory timelines, and issue logs.
Oversee team performance, conduct regular 1:1s and reviews, and coordinate team training and career development plans.
Drive governance improvement initiatives and implement operational enhancements based on workflow analysis and stakeholder feedback.
Work closely with the Regulatory Team Manager to ensure governance input supports regulatory filings, and participate in shared cross-functional learning.
Approve all data changes made in QCore and oversee its optimal usage.
