Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Mentor developers by identifying training needs and fostering growth opportunities.
• Track performance with regular reviews, feedback, and goal-setting aligned with company objectives.
• Conduct bi-weekly or monthly one-on-one meetings to discuss progress and address concerns.
• Facilitate promotions, career development, and recognition of high performers.
• Manage vacation and leave approvals, balancing team productivity and individual well-being.
• Collaborate with QA, Performance Test, and Product teams to align testing, performance, and product goals.
• Assign tasks based on strengths and project priorities for efficient delivery.
• Oversee development processes, promoting best practices like code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Drive automation, standardization, and process optimization across streams.
• Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive technical documentation to support knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Have an excellent vocabulary and communication skills in English.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.
• Have strong experience with Microservices architecture, WebSocket, REST, and GraphQL.
• Have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis (including ehCache and Caffeine).
• Are familiar with database versioning tools such as Liquibase.
• Are proficient in Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Are skilled in containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Have expertise in designing solutions for high-load and high-availability systems.

PLAYTECH OPEN PLATFORM (POP) TEAM 

Playtech Open Platform aka POP is Playtech's exclusive next generation platform that serves as an integration hub for well-defined integration between 3rd Party Gaming Systems (RGS) and Playtech Gaming Platform as well as 3rd party wallets. It provides a single game aggregation for all 3rd party content and enables seamless distribution of content across Playtech licensees. POP allows 3rd Party and Playtech RGSs to integrate with a variety of iGP through standard Third Party Interface (TPI) hiding the complexity of custom protocols.

POP is Playtech’s exclusive highly accessible, multi-tenant, scalable, distributed system written in Scala with the help of the Akka framework. We use MongoDB to store all most of our data. We have a complex solution that is able to support a lot of different needs that our clients has: regulations, reports, features, different money and bonuses types. POP is capable of processing about hundreds of millions of transactions per day from nearly a hundred of different RGS’s.

We adopt Scrum methodology to deliver new features on time.
