About the Role:
The Team Leader - Desktop Support is responsible for providing leadership, co-ordination, technical guidance, development within the local Desktop Support team onsite. You will be familiar with Cabrini customers and contractual requirements, and ensure the contractual KPIs & obligations are met. You will liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, proactively identify customer service issues and provide resolutions, and escalate major issues to the Operations Manager and Chief Information Officer.
You will provide expert advice, support, and guidance in the area of desktop support. You will proactively support and contribute to the overall technology strategy and the planning and delivery of strategic objectives throughout Cabrini.
What You’ll Be Doing
Work closely with relevant stakeholders to increase business readiness, take-up, and sustained adoption of IT systems.
To provide technical support, user administration and assist with any device roll outs
Provide on-site, phone, email and remote support to existing internal and external customers.
Work under minimal supervision, with no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments.
Build strong business relationships based on trust and delivering on commitments. Maintain and foster relationships with stakeholders, including those within IT, across the organisation, and external suppliers and customers.
Ensure the delivery of all programs of work meet compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements regarding IT governance, processes, security and employees (including health and safety).
What You’ll Bring
Trade Certificate in Electronics, OR
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Adv Dip Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
2-4 years related field/industry experience.
Driver’s license
Problem Solving - analyses issues and seeks information including engagement with key stakeholders to obtain diverse perspectives to obtain the best outcome.
Strong troubleshooting and support capabilities in enterprise environments
Excellent communication and a proactive, customer-focused mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
