This role owns the end-to-end product vision and roadmap, drives adoption, and ensures measurable value delivery from data and analytics solutions.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Data & Analytics Strategy
Develop and implement enhancements aligned with Global Commercial Operations strategic objectives and the enterprise data strategy.
Define and manage data & analytics roadmap; prioritize dashboards, semantic models, and data products based on business impact.
Set and track Objectives and KPIs (e.g., turnaround-time reduction, savings enablement, user adoption) to demonstrate value delivery.
Data Engineering & Integration
Design and manage robust data pipelines across Databricks, internal / external data sources; integrate with visualization/reporting tools.
Hands-on coding in SQL and Python for data modelling, cleansing, and transformations; establish reusable components.
Implement rigorous data quality, governance, lineage, and audit controls to ensure trusted, compliant data.
Visualization & Storytelling
Deliver executive-ready dashboards and insights using Power BI or Qlik Sense, focused on decision enablement.
Establish visualization standards and core KPIs to drive consistent performance tracking across markets and brands.
Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
Advanced Analytics & GenAI
Apply GenAI tools in commercial analytics use cases; accelerate insight generation and self-service.
Build predictive and prescriptive models for LOE opportunities, forecasting, and portfolio performance tracking.
Digital Product Ownership
Own product vision, OKRs, and roadmap aligned to Global Commercial Operations and enterprise data strategy.
Maintain a single, prioritized backlog spanning pipelines, semantic models, and dashboards; drive discovery and define success metrics.
Treat data as a product; govern releases via feature flags, controlled changes, release notes, and user training.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders; translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Lead training, adoption, and enablement for self-service analytics capabilities across markets and functions.
Team Leadership
Lead a team of ~10–15 data engineers, analysts, and BI developers; provide coaching and career development.
Promote best practices in engineering excellence, visualization quality, governance, and agile ways of working.
What you'll bring to the role:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
10+ years in data/analytics roles with 4+ years managing teams delivering data products and BI solutions.
Hands-on expertise with Databricks, SQL, Python, Alteryx; proficiency with Power BI and/or Qlik Sense.
Exposure to GenAI/ML platforms and practical application in Pharma Commercial Analytics.
Strong understanding of pharma commercial datasets (e.g., sales, claims, affiliations, etc.) and associated use cases.
Well-versed in advanced analytics techniques (forecasting, segmentation, optimization, experimentation).
Soft Skills
Adept at training and driving adoption of analytics and digital tools.
Ability to simplify complex analytics for diverse stakeholder groups and senior leadership.
Design mindset for scalable, future-proof data solutions; structured problem-solving approach.
Strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Comfort operating in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
