The Role

As the Transformation Assurance Lead, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of transformational business and technology projects. You will be adept at leading and engaging with senior stakeholders to support the delivery of critical projects within the Bank. In this role, you will support the audit’s role in providing assurance over various transformation programs and conduct internal audits of complex projects and collaborating with co-sourced audit subject matter experts.

You will bring a mix of analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, project assurance experience, a passion for project management disciplines and a drive to succeed, working together to drive the RBA’s evolution to the next level of excellence.  You will have experience in planning and management of Audits for Transformation Assurance and the delivery of complex enterprise assurance projects/ programs. Thriving in a small Audit Project Assurance & QA team you will work collaboratively in a small team committed to the Bank’s continuous improvement and providing high value across the Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation assurance audits, including planning, execution, and reporting on project audit engagements.

  • Plan, execute and lead audit teams to complete comprehensive program assurance reviews to high standards taking ownership from planning to reporting

  • Effectively leverage technology tools and data analytics to optimise audit coverage and efficiency and to obtain valuable insights.

  • Provide strategic risk advice and offer timely, high-quality, practical guidance on managing current and emerging risks within a fast-paced environment.

  • Communicate with clarity and articulate project audit findings through persuasive verbal and written reports, ensuring they are contextualised and understood by stakeholders.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.

  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of internal control concepts and experience in applying them, preferably in the Banking and Technology industries.

  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal English skills, the ability to prepare and present reports to a range of audiences.

  • Strong analytical, report writing, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Preferred: Experience in leading Transformation Assurance engagements preferably in Big 4 / consultancies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.   

Your Team

You will report to a Portfolio Manager, Transformation Assurance as a part of the Audit Group that aspires to deliver world class services to the Audit & Risk Committee and the Executive team. and will be part of smaller teams supporting the execution of various audit engagements as part of delivery of the broader audit plan for the Audit department.
