Why you will love this opportunity as Accounts Receivable Team Leader at Civica
Reporting to the Head of Finance (Centre of Excellence), the Team Leader manages a team of Accounts Executives and manages administrative and finance tasks and responsibilities in relation to customer invoicing, queries, payments and cash allocation for the Civica Group. Accounts Receivable Team Leader works closely with the Group Credit Control Manager and Credit Control Team Lead and is responsible for attaining and maintaining company KPIs and SLAs and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and support the Accounts Receivable Executives to improve ability levels and advance knowledge through training and development.
- Manage the group cash allocation function to ensure timely completion in line with business deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Approve new customer set ups and data amendments and drafts changes into the accounting system.
- Ensure compliance to process and SLAs are maintained
- Maintain accurate customer master data
- Execute standard processes across all geographies and ensure consistent performance.
- Adhere to all internal policies, audit procedures and regulations to ensure full compliance.
- Ensure shared mailboxes are monitored and maintained with emails distributed to the correct team in a timely manner
- Drive timely submission of invoices to customer online portals. Takes ownership of new portal set ups.
- Other ad-hoc duties which fall within the reasonable expectations of the role.
- Extensive experience of accounts receivable finance functions
- Proven team management experience
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Ability to actively engage stakeholders, customers, and colleagues.
- Competent in managing multiple priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse workforce
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong work ethic
