We’re looking for a UX Team Lead to inspire and guide a talented design team in creating intuitive, impactful digital experiences. In this role, you’ll shape UX strategy, champion user-centric design, and collaborate across product and engineering to deliver solutions that delight customers. About the Role

As a Team Lead for User Experience, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping intuitive, impactful digital experiences for our customers. This role blends strategic design leadership with hands-on mentorship, ensuring our UX team delivers solutions that delight users and drive business success.


What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Development

  • Set the Vision: Define team goals, prioritize projects, and ensure alignment with product and business objectives.
  • Grow Talent: Recruit, mentor, and inspire UX designers, fostering a culture of creativity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
  • Problem-Solve: Navigate complex design challenges and resolve conflicts with empathy and clarity.

Design Strategy & Execution

  • Champion the User: Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to launch.
  • Lead by Example: Shape UX strategy, guide design decisions, and ensure solutions meet usability and accessibility standards.
  • Drive Process Excellence: Oversee research, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing to inform design improvements.
  • Maintain Quality: Establish and evolve design systems and guidelines for consistency across products.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Influence & Present: Communicate design rationale effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage Expectations: Align on scope, timelines, and deliverables while building trust with partners.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in UX design and leadership roles.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in design thinking, user research, and usability testing.
  • Proficiency with tools like Figma, prototyping platforms, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of modern UI principles, design systems, and emerging technologies.

  • Advanced degree in Design, HCI, or Computer Science.
  • Experience with AI-assisted design, data visualization, and journey mapping.
  • Track record of driving innovation in UX/UI and digital product design.
  • Ability to inspire teams and promote a culture of creativity and inclusion.
  • Passion for staying ahead of design trends and translating complex needs into actionable solutions.

  • Case Study Walkthrough: Showcase a project from inception to delivery.
  • Team Project Deep Dive: Discuss collaboration and leadership approach.
  • User Testing Examples: Share insights and methodologies.
  • Metrics & Impact: Demonstrate how you measure success.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience 

• 1+ years of team lead experience (Managing a team)

• Preferred: previous experience with Agile based project execution 

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid (Pune / Mumbai)
