The Role
As a Tech Lead / Ruby Developer, you will play a critical role within the development department, responsible for leading a supportive team of developers in delivering a seamless Developer Experience that fosters innovation, growth, and productivity. You will be responsible for optimizing and ensuring the resilience of software delivery processes, serving as the backbone of the company's technological infrastructure. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, facilitating knowledge sharing, and creating a solid working culture of a team distributed across different countries. Your role will involve being both a technical leader and a supportive team player, ensuring the success of the team and serving other developers within the organization.

What You'll Do

- Lead a team that aims to optimises, makes reliable, and ensures the resilience of software delivery processes of the company.

- Foster a solid working culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within a distributed team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver a seamless Developer Experience (DX).

- Develop and maintain Ruby applications, focusing on Ruby on Rails framework.

- Interact with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.

- Work with relational databases.

- Utilize Git for version control to track and manage code changes.

- Understand and apply knowledge of SAML, PKI, and cryptography

- Apply DevOps practices to ensure efficient and seamless development workflow.

- Serve as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department, promoting best practices and efficient workflows.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Devops and developer experience.

- Ensure the team's work aligns with the vision of the company's technological infrastructure.

What You'll Bring

 - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Ruby (on Rails) developer.

 - Proven experience leading and managing a team of developers.

 - Knowledge of SAML, PKI and cryptography.

 - Strong technical expertise in Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails framework.

 - Experienced in relational database.

 - Familiarity with optimizing software delivery processes and ensuring resilience.

 - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 - Ability to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the team.

 - Prior experience serving other developers and understanding their needs.

 - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

 - Continuous learner with a passion for Devops and keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

 - Good understanding and knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
