About the Position
As a Team Lead in the Professional Services team, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of Research Associates and collaborating with U.S. policy consultants and other team members. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our clients receive timely and accurate information about legislative and regulatory issues that impact their businesses. You will provide guidance and support to your team, fostering their professional growth and helping them deliver high-quality work. Additionally, you will independently review and analyze qualitative information and policy for our clients.

Understanding the needs of clients, our team works with Business Development and Account Management to create tailored reports and research that complement our cutting-edge product suite. About You
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual who has a passion for leadership in the policy or research space. As a Team Lead, you should excel in paying attention to detail and possess the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into key points that deliver value to clients. You should be a team player, willing to support your team members and contribute to the overall success of the department. You should also be comfortable working independently while being open to seeking assistance when needed.
What to Expect in this Position:
- Lead and mentor a team of Research Associates, providing guidance and support
- Ensure the team delivers timely and accurate information to clients regarding legislative and regulatory issues
- Independently review and analyze policy documents to extract relevant information based on client needs
- Identify and analyze U.S. legislation and regulations that align with client interests
- Produce concise and informative U.S. legislative and regulatory summaries
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at FiscalNote
- Communicate effectively and promptly with colleagues and employees at FiscalNote
- Contribute to the documentation of policy areas and client priorities within the team

- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in international affairs or a related discipline is required
- Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship is highly preferred
