Global Expansions Lead is responsible for leading business expansion, regulatory compliance, and licensing across multiple jurisdictions. His role includes identifying new sending corridors, acquiring financial licenses, engaging external consultants, managing the end-to-end licensing process, preparing feasibility reports, and securing necessary approvals from the license committee.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research & Development – New Sending Corridors & Licensing
• Identify and evaluate potential new sending corridors, assessing market feasibility and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct in-depth market research to determine key factors for expansion, including legal frameworks, licensing needs, and operational models.
• Develop operational models for setting up new businesses, ensuring regulatory compliance and business viability.
2. Feasibility Analysis & Licensing Approvals
• Prepare comprehensive feasibility reports for new sending corridors and license applications.
• Assess financial, legal, and operational feasibility before initiating new licensing processes.
• Present feasibility reports and obtain necessary approvals from the license committee before proceeding with license applications.
3. Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
• Lead the acquisition of financial licenses across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
• Engage and coordinate with external consultants, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth licensing processes.
• Oversee the end-to-end licensing process, from feasibility study and document preparation to application submission and final approval.
• Work closely with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure all regulatory and operational requirements are met.
4. Project Management & Business Expansion
• Drive and oversee new license applications, acquisitions, and regulatory approvals.
• Support ACE’s expansion strategy, ensuring seamless execution of new company setups in different jurisdictions.
• Conduct due diligence for new markets, identifying and mitigating risks before expansion.
5. Progress Tracking & Coordination
• Continuously track and monitor licensing and expansion projects, ensuring all regulatory deadlines and commitments are met.
• Act as a liaison between regulatory bodies, consultants, internal teams, and the license committee, ensuring smooth communication and execution.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on licensing progress, feasibility outcomes, and market expansion initiatives.
