Job Description

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Team Lead Firewall Administrator to join our team and support our gov't customer. The Team Lead shall be able to provide overall supervision for vendor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the project professionally, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources; ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided. This role has the authority to resolve problems, allocate resources, manage personnel, and monitor operation performance taking direction from the government to ensure complete satisfaction. The Team Lead works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. The Team lead also coordinates with the Vendor PM, PMO, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.

Work Location:

Must be able to work on-site in one of the following locations: Richmond, VA; Ft. Belvoir, VA; Philadelphia, PA; New Cumberland, PA; Battle Creek MI; Dayton, OH; or Columbus, OH. Candidate may be able to work partially remote after initial onboarding and orientation.

Minimum Experience:

Fifteen (15) years relevant DoD experience to include:

1. Strong background in network troubleshooting, security policy formulation, and firewall configuration.
2. Working knowledge of host-based Firewall.
3. Working knowledge and understanding of industry standard network environments to include firewall and security hardware/software.
4. Working knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices.
5. Experience performing firewall backups and storage management via Command line Interface (CLI).
6. Experience performing firewall software and hardware upgrade.
7. Experience building/configure new firewalls utilizing backup from old equipment.
8. In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations and moderate knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
9. Knowledge of industry standard Incident Ticket Tracking systems for inputting incident tickets and creating work orders.
10. Experience in processing and documenting trouble tickets from support teams and coordinating with technicians to resolve work order requests.
11. Comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations, guidelines and policies, to include, but not limited to, IA standards.
12. Working knowledge of the installation, configuration and day-to-day sustainment of host-based firewalls, to include but not limited to the management server and other product related items.
13. Troubleshot network connectivity for various users and applications using McAfee/ Sidewinder Next Generation Firewalls. 
14. Expertise in managing firewall rule bases in compliance with Cyber Security requirements ensuring the hardening of networks, and aligning with Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) standards.
15. Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems, performing tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Security/Certification Requirements:

• T3 Investigation, Sensitivity Level: IT-I Critical Sensitive
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II or IAT III (Sec+ CASP+, CISM, CISSP)
• Computing Environment: CCSA or CCSE
• Server Admin M (Cloud or Microsoft / Linux Operating System per DLA Approved CE) or ACE Multiload Network Associate by Aviatrix

Desired Certification:

• Illumio Core Specialist or Expert (in addition to the requirements above)
