You will be the key “go-to-person” for our evening & night personnel – and be the liaison with the senior management team.
The team you will be part of
At our high-tech production facility in Præstø on the east coast of Zealand in Denmark, you will become part of an organization of about 100 colleagues within production, operations, supply chain, and administration. We are part of GN Store Nord, which has its global headquarters in Ballerup.
You will work with a diverse global team – including our Global Planning and Purchasing Teams in Ballerup, as part of our Global Operations & Supply Chain function.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Manage the production team's activities during evening and night shifts to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Monitor production processes and workflows to meet production targets and deadlines.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve overall efficiency.
Conduct regular performance evaluations (P2E) and provide constructive feedback with team members.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
To thrive in the role, we imagine that you:
Relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment with the ability to motivate, coach and develop; Supervisory or leadership experience is beneficial.
Understanding of production processes, equipment, and safety standards.
Proficiency in managing responsibilities effectively while adhering to tight schedules.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Flexibility to work evening and night shifts.
Applicants with a background in advanced planning tools and experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft D365, general good IT system understanding – incl. with the Microsoft suite - are encouraged to apply.
Have stakeholder-, and project management abilities from a complex environment.
Relevant educational background withing operations, productions, supply chain management or similar lines of studies.
Can communicate fluently in English – as well as in Danish - both orally and in writing.
At a personal level, you do well in environments where change can be rapid and uncertain, managing immediate priorities while also planning for the future.
As you will collaborate with stakeholder across the organization you also possess a high degree of professionalism and work ethics. Your skill in attaining goals is evident when working solo or alongside your colleagues – by which you listen and challenge constructively.
