Team Lead, Data Science

What you'll do

• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating the latest AI technologies into real business use cases, particularly in Generative AI.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers.
• Formulate, plan and prioritize data science projects in alignment with organizational goals.
• Design and refine the MLOps workflow to ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability of our machine learning services.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of data science capabilities into products and platforms.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and be ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.

What you will need:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in data science or machine learning, with a proven track record of deploying and maintaining production-grade AI systems.
• Demonstrated experience in applying Generative AI to business problems, in areas such as RAG, voice models (real-time or ASR/TTS-based), and AI agents.
• Strong understanding of machine learning lifecycle management and best practices in MLOps.
• Familiarity with frameworks, libraries and models used in OCR, computer vision, NLP, and machine learning.
• Experience with leveraging ML services on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is preferred.
• Good command of English and Mandarin.
