About the role

We’re looking for a Data Services Team Lead to join our Shared Service Centre in Gurgaon. As a Data Services Team Lead, you’ll be at the heart of managing and supporting our growing Shared Service Centre team. This role is a result of the rapid growth at TMS Global, and you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of data reporting and master data management tasks.

You’ll lead a team of Data Analysts and Master Data Administrators, overseeing workflows, reviewing requests, and ensuring processes are followed to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Some daily responsibilities will include-

• Lead and mentor the SSC Data Services team to deliver accurate and timely reports and master data tasks.
• Monitor team performance using KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Drive performance management, career development, and skill enhancement.
• Collaborate with the Head of Shared Service Centre to identify and implement process efficiencies.
• Drive resource optimisation and foster a collaborative, innovative team culture.
• Review and approve master data requests through our ticketing tool while sticking to processes.
• Leverage tools like Power BI and Excel to oversee reporting processes, ensuring insights are delivered with accuracy and quality.

About you

You have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to keep tasks and teams well-organised. You’re comfortable managing workflows, addressing challenges, and ensuring processes run efficiently. You have solid experience with data and analytics tools like Power BI and advanced Excel, and you’re confident navigating reporting platforms to deliver high-quality insights. Familiarity with SAP is a bonus, but your ability to adapt and learn will make you successful in this role.
